• ID badges must be worn at all times.  Progress is monitored on individual Progress Cards at the end of each session.  Heart rates, blood pressure, and weight are also recorded.

• Restrooms are located in the corridor by the Management Office on the upper level.

• You will see program staff walking the opposite direction of the group.  This is done for monitoring purposes only, to ensure safety for all Mall Walker participants.

• Some Walkers have colored dots on their badges.  This is a signal to program staff that cardiac problems, pulmonary problems, or diabetes exist.  This is done to ensure that appropriate emergency procedures can be carried out if necessary.  Doctors releases will be required of everyone.

• The Mall Walkers program will be closed on all legal holidays and will follow the Prince George's County School System's inclement weather policy.  When Prince George's schools are closed we will be closed too.

• In case of an emergency, such as fire, staff will instruct you on actions to take.
